Paint Correction
Exterior Detailing

This Midnight Blue Porsche 911 Carrera 2 shines after multi-step paint correction and tasteful mods—RS-inspired, powerful, and built for fun.

One of the cars that is easily recognizable to most people is the familiar shape and lines of the iconic Porsche 911. This handsome Carrera 2 is covered in Nachtblau Pearl/Midnight Blue Pearl paint, which is a rich, deep, pearl metallic. After the paint correction that we performed, the car’s color has a nearly iridescent quality, thanks to amazing depth and shine.

Not only is the car a beautiful color, but it has a number of tasteful modifications that make it unique. It’s been lowered a bit on Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, and replica “Cup 2” wheels that have a slightly lower offset than the factory wheels were added to give more space for the upgraded 993 Turbo front brakes.

The engine has a number of upgrades such as new pistons, rods, camshafts, ported heads, and a B&B exhaust system which ensures that you can hear the car. Upgrades are also found  inside the car thanks to a few tasteful additions that give Carrera RS vibes. Early RS cars have interiors that are a bit more spartan. Cloth sport seats, rear seat delete, blue seatbelts, vintage MOMO steering wheel, and Blaupunkt radio are a few interior highlights.

The car came in for a multi step paint correction to take care of many imperfections in the paint, which included a number scratches and swirls. Ahead of the paint correction we treated the car to a two bucket hand wash, including pH neutral gentle snow foam, clay bar decontamination, and a paint inspection with a paint meter. Our client received a copy of the paint meter report for their records.

Though the curves and timeless 911 shape are familiar, each car has a bit of a different personality, and this car is out for fun. We love the look!
