The E39 Generation M5 like the car you see here is a perennial favorite on many great performance car lists. We can understand why. They are well-built, solid, powerful, great handling cars, which is to be expected from a BMW M-car. 

M5’s feature a comfortable interior which includes supportive leather-clad seats, wood trim, thick-rimmed steering wheel, and clear gauges.  The exterior styling, which is slightly different from the other 5-Series cars, helps give the M5 a menacing, commanding road presence. The little differences give a slightly muscular look to the sedan and include a different front bumper, rear spoiler, multi-spoke wheels, and four exhaust pipes. The sound exiting the four exhaust pipes at higher rpm’s is a satisfying giveaway. The 5-Liter V8 sounds magnificent, and revs quickly as the driver goes through the gears with the 6-speed manual transmission. 

This particular M5 came in for a partial underside dry ice cleaning. Our client wanted it cleaner than it was when it arrived, but not up to the standard that the car looked brand new and undriven. We did our best to turn off the portion of our brains that often insists upon extreme detailing and went through and removed a lot of grease and grime that had accumulated over the years. We accomplished what our client was after, all while preserving a well maintained look, even preserving factory stickers and markings. 

After the dry ice cleaning, the car was given a two bucket hand wash, and a light application of tire shine. For those who know, this M5 is a stunning car, and one that is sure to keep a smile on the driver’s face.
